Jerome Corsi, an associate of political consultant Roger Stone who was caught up in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation last year, told Newsmax TV on Wednesday night he believes Mueller is finished pursuing him.
“I think I’m done. I think indicting me now would be malicious, especially after I’ve sued them,” Corsi told “The Joe Pags Show.”
“The one count they wanted me to plead guilty to was the first day’s testimony when I forgot some emails. I amended that testimony, and they weren’t admitting that I amended the testimony. [If] that’s the best they had, Mueller’s got nothing on me, because I did not lie. And now even [WikiLeaks founder Julian] Assange says I was telling the truth and was not in contact with him at all.”
