By David Ferrara Las Vegas Review-Journal February 7, 2019 Federal prosecutors filed opening briefs Wednesday in their appeal of a judge’s dismissal of felony conspiracy and weapons charges against Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy and others. A year ago, U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro threw out the case against Bundy, his sons Ammon and Ryan, and independent militia member Ryan Payne after finding “flagrant prosecutorial misconduct.” Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth White asked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse Navarro’s decision, defending the Justice Department’s actions at trial. By Valerie Richardson The Washington Times February 6, 2019 The Justice Department filed an appeal Tuesday of its devastating defeat against Cliven Bundy in the Nevada standoff, disputing the federal judge’s decision last year to throw out the case based on prosecutorial wrongdoing. The 88-page motion, filed with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, challenged Chief U.S. District Court Judge Gloria Navarro’s blistering finding of “flagrant” misconduct, which prompted her to declare a mistrial in December 2017 and dismiss the charges a month later. By Larry Klayman Klayman Law Group February 4, 2019 There is so much misinformation in the media these days, that it is hard for even political pundits and couch potatoes to sift through and even try to understand it all. By Larry Klayman WND January 29, 2019 Last Friday morning, for one of the few times in years, I got up late, at 7:30 am Eastern, as I was a bit tired after traveling from the West Coast to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to prep one of my clients who had been subpoenaed before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury. On Thursday, as I appeared at the federal courthouse and took the elevator to the fourth floor, which is where the grand jury room is located, I was escorted into a small waiting room. Shortly after I situated myself,…

By Lee Moran HuffPost January 29, 2019 Roger Stone has been dubbed “a total Beavis” by a Republican senator. Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) likened President Donald Trump’s former associate to one half of MTV’s animated duo “Beavis and Butt-Head” on Monday. “I’ve watched this man. He talked himself into an indictment,” Kennedy said after making the cartoon comparison. Continue Reading…..

MSNBC.com January 29, 2019 In a news-making interview, one of two witnesses named in Bob Mueller’s indictment of Roger Stone, Jerome Corsi, joins MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber to give his perspective of Stone’s indictment. Corsi, named as “Person 1” in the indictment, tells Ari Melber that the indictment seems “entirely correct” as it relates to his testimony with Mueller’s prosecutors. Corsi also reveals that Stone contacted him on “the day that Wikileaks” began releasing John Podesta’s emails to talk about a “timing issue” and that Mueller’s team were “absolutely” interested in that information.
