Today, Larry Klayman, the founder of both Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, a former federal prosecutor and former candidate for the U.S. Senate in Florida, filed on behalf of Laura Loomer her opposition to a frivolous motion to dismiss filed by the lawyers for Bill Maher and Home Box Office (“HBO”). Not coincidentally, these lawyers are the same lawyers who represented George Stephanopoulos and ABC with the recent settlement with Donald Trump. Mr. Klayman’s response on behalf of Laura Loomer discusses the parallels between the Trump case and the Maher and HBO case.

Maher’s and HBO’s motion to dismiss is as destined to fail as was the one these same anti-Trump lawyers, Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP. and Shullman Fugate, PLLC., filed in their huge and humiliating loss to Donald Trump where, even as a public figure, the president-elect prevailed. It is time that the rabid haters like so-called comedian Bill Maher – he is not funny and has never been – be brought to justice. The $15 million dollars which Stephanopoulos and ABC were forced to pay Trump, plus attorneys fees and costs, will ultimately pale in comparison to what Maher and HBO will have to shell out in the end. Only by hitting them in their pocketbooks can this despicable conduct be stopped.
