The Senate Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi, his attorney, Larry Klayman, told The Hill on Friday.
The committee asked for both an interview and documents from the Roger Stone associate in a subpoena received Thursday, according to Klayman.
Corsi is a “birther”-promoting conservative commentator who came under scrutiny in the Russia investigation for comments he made suggesting he had advance knowledge that Wikileaks planned to release hacked Democratic emails in the summer of 2016. Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch, is best known for filing frivolous lawsuits against political figures and government agencies.
